Retrieving Location Information

Overview

Locations represent physical data center regions where your workloads can be deployed. To retrieve information about locations, including the country and city, you can request a list of locations. The complete list of locations is configured on a per-project basis and can be provided upon request.

Each location has specific properties that help identify and categorize it, including:

  • Name: A unique identifier for the location (e.g., "us-san-jose")

  • Description: A human-readable description of the location (e.g., "United States - San Jose")

  • City: The city where the data center is located (e.g., "San Jose")

  • Country: The country code where the data center is located (e.g., "US")

  • Subdivision: Optional state/province information (if applicable)

  • Labels: Additional metadata associated with the location
