User page

Find out how to get detailed information on specific user

General data

General user data includes the following information:

Parameter

Description

Traffic

User daily bandwidth limit (in Mb). If the user doesn't have a bandwidth limit, you will see 'Unlimited'. You can change the user bandwidth limit (see below).

License

User license. The license determines how many devices a user can register. You can change the license (see below).

Activated devices

Number of user's registered devices

Status

User status:

  • Invited - a user that has been registered, but has not logged in for the first time.

  • Active - an active user.

  • Disabled - a blocked user. The user can't use the Platform services.

Registration time

The time of the first user's registration in the project.

Purchases

This parameter is displayed only for users of 'Public VPN' projects. If a user has an active subscription, this field will contain 'Active'.

Extref

Additional parameter. It can include any data (e.g. User ID of your external service). You can change this (see below).

Description

User description (e.g. user's full name). You can change this (see below).

User country

User's original country. You can change this (see below).

Auth method

Authentication method of this user.

Sessions

You can find all sessions of the user on this page. This page includes the list of sessions and the search filter.

Parameter

Description

Device ID

Device ID, generated by the Platform.

Server

Name of VPN node. It is the name of a server with a VPN tunnel between it and the user's device.

Location

Location of the VPN server.

Start time

Session start time.

End time

Session end time. If the session is active, this field will be empty.

Internal IP

Internal IP address of this session (VPN node assigns the IP for this session). This IP is not a real user's IP or user external IP.

Upload

Transmitted bytes

You can sort the list data by any column.

You will see active sessions on top of the session list.

At the top, there is a filter. You can filter the session list by user device or session time.

Selected session time periods can be up to 30 days.

Devices

You can find all of the user's devices on this page. This page includes the following characteristics:

Device ID

Device ID, generated by the Platform.

Access Token

Device secret, generated by the Platform.

Name

Device name

Device Type

Device type:

  • Android

  • iOS

  • macOS

  • Windows

Registration Time

Device registration time

You can delete a user's device from the list (see Actions on this page).

Purchases

All user subscriptions can be found on this page. This page includes a list of subscriptions.

This page is available only in "Public VPN" projects.

Parameter

Description

Transaction ID

Purchase transaction ID

Product ID

Purchase product ID

Type

Purchase type:

  • apple

  • google

  • etc.

Transaction Time

Purchase transaction time

Expiration Time

Purchase expiration time

Active

Shows whether a purchase is active or not

Trial

Shows whether the trial period is active or not

Raw Data

Raw purchase data in JSON format

You can deactivate an active purchase and try to activate a non-active purchase (see Actions on this page).

Actions

Changing a user's bandwidth limit

To change the "Traffic" parameter, you need to:

  1. Open User - "General" tab

3. In this form, you can:

  • Set daily limit (bytes),

  • Toggle the"Traffic reset" on and off. The current daily limit will reset to 0 after the limit update.

  • Set the user's traffic limit to unlimited.

4. Click the "Set limit" button to update the traffic limit.

Changing the license

To change the "License" parameter, you need to:

  1. Open User - "General" tab

  2. Select a new license from the list of available licenses and click the "Save" button to update it.

The license name usually includes 2 numbers. The first number is the limit of devices.

Changing Description, Extref or Country

To change the "Description", "Extref" or "User country" parameters, you need to:

  1. Open User - "General" tab

  2. Change the values and click the "Save" button to update the parameters.

Changing a user's status

To activate or deactivate a user, you need to:

  1. Open User - "General" tab

Deleting a device

If a user doesn't have free device slots (reached the limit of devices), you can delete his old registered devices.

Sessions with deleted devices will be available in the user's session story.

To delete a user's device, you need to:

  1. Open User - "Devices" tab

3. Click the "Delete device" button to finish.

Activating/deactivating a purchase

You can try to activate a purchase or deactivate an active purchase.

Deactivating a purchase

To deactivate a purchase, you need to:

  1. Open User - "Purchases" tab

3. Click the "Disable purchase" button.

Usually, the application logic tries to recover a purchase if it has a valid receipt.

Activating a purchase

To activate a purchase, you need to:

  1. Open User - "Purchases" tab

3. Click the "Activate purchase" button.

The Platform verifies active purchases every 24 hours. If a purchase verification fails, the platform will automatically deactivate it again.

Deleting a user

You can delete a user and all his data (user info, user devices, session story). To delete a user, you need to:

2. Set the user ID. It is necessary for the verification of the action

3. Click the "Delete user data" button.

Caution: this action is irreversible.
